In 1943, Reg Tomkinson began in the monument industry in England at just 14 years old — all of the men were off fighting in WW II. He emigrated to Canada in 1957, and worked in the industry in Stouffville before Reg and his wife Clara bought Luesby Memorial in Newmarket in 1975 from Jack Luesby.
The building is original and was built in 1865 and since then has always been a monument shop. Dave and Lori took over as owners in 1989 to present.
Our goal is to help families through what is often a difficult time. We are kind, patient, caring, understanding, and here for our customers. Purchasing a memorial creates a memory forever, and we help to ensure you are happy with your choice.
